How can I cash in my policy?
A policy can be cashed in (i.e., canceled or surrendered) for its cash surrender value at any time. However, if your policy is earning dividends, the annual dividend and any interest payable on accumulated dividends are payable only on the policy anniversary date. If your request is received by Centrian Life less than 30 days before the policy anniversary date, unless you specifically request otherwise, we (Centrian Life Insurance) will hold the request until the anniversary to avoid the loss of dividends and/or interest payable on that date. If you wish to SURRENDER your policy, please call a customer service representative at 1-800-315-0552 to obtain the required form.
