Rose Cahill Appointed Vice President and Director
of Marketing for Centrian Life Insurance
West Hartford, CT - June 26, 2007 - Centrian Life Insurance today announced the appointment of Rose Cahill, Vice President and Director of Marketing. In the position, Cahill will oversee all marketing initiatives for the company, including advertising, direct marketing, and corporate sponsorships. Cahill brings 25 years of marketing experience with top name companies including Hallmark Cards, Gillette, International Playtex, and The Kendall Company. In addition, Cahill brings more than 15 years of insurance and financial services experience building marketing teams and working with sales support units, inside sales teams, and outside brokers and banks. "Rose brings unmatched experience in marketing and advertising in the financial services and insurance industry, and we are confident she will be a tremendous asset to the Centrian Life Insurance team," said Robert K. Sheridan, president and CEO of Centrian Life Insurance. Prior to joining Centrian Life Insurance, Cahill was employed at Bingham, McCutchen LLP in Boston, where she was appointed to the new position of Director of Firmwide Programs, directing the marketing activities for the law firm’s diversity, pro bono, recruiting, alumni, and women’s initiatives. Cahill has more than 15 years of financial services and insurance experience at John Hancock Financial Services, where she built the lead generation unit to support Hancock agents; managed annuity product development and marketing; and supported broker/dealer and bank marketing as Hancock expanded its distribution channels. Cahill was also chosen as one of four senior people at Hancock to start a subsidiary broker/dealer life insurance business, Investors Partner Life. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Kalamazoo College, a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University and studied in Germany on a Fulbright Scholarship.
